Meet Kimmy the Daycare Diva

Hi, I’m Kimmy!

I’m a wife, a mom of two boys, and a childcare provider with over 17 years of hands-on experience in the early childhood field. Originally from Upstate New York and now proudly serving families in Georgia, childcare has been at the heart of my life for nearly two decades.

My journey into family childcare started from a deeply personal place. After experiencing the devastating loss of my first son, I was blessed with my rainbow baby. I knew I wanted to be home with him while continuing to do what I love most—caring for children. That’s when I opened my in-home daycare.

My goal was simple: create a place where parents could leave their children with confidence, knowing they would be safe, loved, clean, well-fed, and cared for like family. A place where little ones could learn, grow, and thrive with happy hearts.

Over the years, I’ve worn every hat imaginable—provider, teacher, curriculum planner, policy writer, enrollment coordinator, licensing prep specialist, and business owner. I’ve learned through experience, made mistakes, found solutions, and developed systems that help my daycare run smoothly and successfully.

That’s why I created Kimmy the Daycare Diva.
